A video of a woman biker being struck by a car on Gurugram’s Golf Course Road has raised serious questions about road rage, reckless driving and the safety of two-wheeler riders. The woman, identified as Sia, was reportedly riding with a group when a car began following the bikers.
According to her account, the car stayed close to the group and its occupants allegedly behaved aggressively. Sia reportedly asked the driver to maintain distance, but the vehicle continued following them.
Rather than stopping to confront the occupants, Sia reportedly chose to continue riding. She was accompanied by fellow bikers, one of whom was riding behind her. Reports say the friend attempted to protect her from the approaching vehicle.
The situation eventually escalated when the car allegedly moved toward Sia’s motorcycle. The vehicle struck the sports bike, throwing her onto the road. The motorcycle was reportedly dragged for several metres before coming to a stop.
The incident was recorded on video, reportedly through a camera mounted on the motorcycle. The footage has since circulated online, allowing viewers to see the moments surrounding the collision.
