Dulquer, who will be seen in the upcoming action-packed film King of Kotha, made a candid revelation about his father Mammootty. The actor shared, “I see him sometimes in his room. If I walk in he’ll be just like watching a very old film of his on YouTube. He is also reminiscing those times. And reminiscing towards memories of how they made the film. He’s like ‘Today, I might play this character’. So, I think it is important to do that. I should also revisit my stuff more (laughs).”

Even at age 71, Mammootty is unstoppable. The legendary actor has an interesting project in the pipeline. His fans are beyond excited to see him in Kaathal – The Core.
On the other hand, Dulquer will be seen in Abhilash Joshiy’s King of Kotha. At the recent event, Dulquer was asked about his upcoming film being compared with Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rise. The actor said that he heard about the comparisons and added, “I do love Bunny (Allu Arjun) as an actor and as a performer. But I think, this film was with us since 2019 and I think even as far as, maybe three years ago they put up a character sketch. So, we kind of had this plan in our minds. But I have heard that and I think it’s a compliment. We are not trying to imitate or copy. But I hope it does as well as Pushpa did.”
King of Kotha is set release on 24th of August.
