Government Of India announced the winners of 69th National Film Awards on Thursday and this year, several Hindi films emerged victorious at the highest film honour in the country. Amongst the biggest winners at the ceremony were RRR, Gangubai Kathiawadi and Sardar Udham.

While RRR won 6 awards, Gangubai Kathiawadi and Sardar Udham took home 5 awards each. In the acting category, 3 of the 4 awards were won by Hindi film actors. Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon and Allu Arjun won their first National Awards this year, and here is a complete winners list.

Best Cinematography: Avik Mukhopadhayay for Sardar Udham

Best Screenplay: Gangubai Kathiawadi and Nayattu

Best Audiography: Sardar Udham, Chavittu and Jhilli

Best Editing: Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Gangubai Kathiawadi

Best Production Design: Dmitrii Malich and Masi Dhruv Mehta for Sardar Udham

Best Costume Designer: Veera Kapur Ee for Sardar Udham

Best Music Direction: Devi Sri Prasad for Pushpa: The Rise and MM Keeravaani for RRR

Special Jury Award: Vishnu Vardhan for Shershaah

Best Special Effects: V Srinivas Mohan for RRR

Best Choreography: Prem Rakshith for RRR

Best Action Direction Award: King Soloman for RRR
