Imran Khan is one of the most loved actors in Bollywood. Earlier this month, he had confirmed that he will soon make a comeback. Since then, he has been quite active on social media. Recently, he replied to an Instagram user who asked him to refund money for his films Kidnap and Luck. Much to everyone’s surprise, Imran revealed that he is yet to receive his payment for one of the films.
Imran reveals he did not get paid for his film
The Instagram user wrote, “1 million likes if y’all want Imran Khan to return your money if you paid to watch Kidnap and Luck.” To this, Imran responded saying, “That money actually goes to the theatre owners first, then to the producers… as it happens, they never cleared my final payment on that film, so maybe we can all take the issue up with them?”
While Kidnap released in 2018, Luck was released in 2009.

In July, a fan commented on veteran actor Zeenat Aman’s post about her new commercial. It read, “Zeenat ji ne bhi comeback karlia, patani mera @imrankhan kab karega.” Imran had reacted to the fan’s comment saying, “Chalo Aditi, let’s leave this to the internet… 1M likes, and I’ll make it happen.” Post that, Imran revealed that he is working on making a comeback soon.
Now, Imran reacted to claims of seeking validation with 1Million likes. For the uninitiated, an Instagram user recently posted a video of himself with his poetry talking about the actor wanting validation through likes regarding his comeback in Bollywood. The actor responded saying, “The truth is, it was never about a million likes. I picked the number because it seemed unattainable, and since it would never happen anyway, I could just quietly retreat again, no questions asked. I didn’t count on all of you picking it up and carrying it forward… After all this time, I didn’t think anyone would still care enough to reach out and tell me they believe in me. You love humbles me.”
