Vicky Kaushal made a fun comment related to Katrina Kaif after wrapping Sam Bahadur

Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur teaser released today. Vicky will be seen playing the role of field marshal Sam Manekshaw in the upcoming film. On the other hand, Sanya Malhotra plays Vicky’s wife Silloo and Fatima Sana Shaikh will be seen as Indira Gandhi. The teaser gave a glimpse of what to expect from the Meghna Gulzar directorial. Like Sam Manekshaw, Vicky is sporting a mustache and is dressed in a uniform. Vicky as Sam Manekshaw looks convincing. The actor has once again proved he can ace any role effortlessly.

Sam Bahadur is directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala under RSVP Movies. At the teaser launch of the film, producer Ronnie Screwvala recalled Vicky Kaushal’s fun comment about wife Katrina Kaif post Sam Bahadur shoot wrap. The producer recalls Vicky saying, “My better half is quite happy that I’m not going clean shaved anymore.”

Earlier in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Vicky Kaushal had revealed that wife Katrina Kaif loves his bearded look more as compared to clean-shaven look. The actor told us, “I should at least have a stubble on my face. I don’t like myself clean-shaven and that is purely an occupational hazard. So, I would only shave when it’s a requirement for a character. Otherwise, I like to keep some beard. It’s all dependent on the character but at least somewhere.”

He added, “Last whole year, I was clean-shaven because we were shooting for Sam Bahadur. So this year, she (Katrina Kaif is not getting into how much beard is there. She is just happy that there is a beard. Because the last whole year, I was shaving every day for the role so she’s had it and now she is very happy this year because of it.”

Coming back to Sam Bahadur, Vicky recently revealed that he got offered the film due to Raazi.
