Actor Prabhas’ starrer Adipurush is still in the controversial phase after being released on 16 June 2023. Though the film generated hype before its release, it failed to meet the netizen’s expectations soon after its release. While the audience were left disheartened with Adipurush, they have a good news on the way. Ramanand Sagar’s most loved Ramayan is all set to be back on TV screens!

Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan to air on TV

The 40 year old show still stands to be one of the most loved ones of all time. During the Covid-era, Ramayan had made a re-run on Doordarshan. And now Ramayan coming back on 3 July at 7.30 pm onwards on Shemaroo TV Channel. The channel had took to Instagram announcing the re-run of Ramayan. However, the post has been taken down unfortunately.

Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan featured the iconic Arun Govil as Ram, Deepika Chikhalia as Sita, Sunil Lahri as Lakshman, late Dara Singh as Hanuman and Arvind Trivedi as Ravana. Amid Adipurush debate, the show still stands as most loved among the audience.


Adipurush and netizens’ reaction to the film

Speaking of Adipurush, the film features a strong cast of Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh and Saif Ali Khan. Even though the movie was made in a massive budget, it received flak from the netizens. Comments were made on its VFX, dialogues and the cast too. As the film failed massively to impress the audience, the film’s box office continues to fall down.

Adipurush received quite a lot of backlash as well as negative reviews for its VFX and dialogues. Post this, certain dialogues from the film were changed as per the public demand. However, those changed dialogues also did not garner attention and love from the audience.

With Ramayan making a comeback yet again, the netizens are overjoyed with the news. After Adipurush debacle, the audience are surely going to have an enthralling experience once again with the most popular Ramayan as it gets re-telecasted on TV from 3 July.
