Every actor goes through a prep session just to get into the character. Even superstar Shah Rukh Khan had to go through a prepping session for his role in Jawan. But how did he prepare himself for Jawan? Well, Shah Rukh revealed that he took inspiration from some South superstars. During the recent #AskSRK session, SRK told that he watched movies of Allu Arjun, Rajinikanth, and Vijay. He took help from them to understand the language of expression.

Here’s why Shah Rukh took inspiration from South stars

During the Twitter interactive session, one fan asked him, “Did you see a lot of movies revolving around your role in Jawan to better prepare for it?” Replying to the fan, the Pathaan actor tweeted, “I watched a lot of films of Atlee. Vijay sir. Allu Arjun ji. Rajni sir. Yash and loads of other stars to understand the language of expression for the world that was being created. And yes then prepped for my own character too. #Jawan” Well, that’s quite interesting, right?

Given that a South director has directed Jawan, Shah Rukh took inspiration from the South actor to prepare better for the role. Now, we are more excited to watch him in Jawan.

SRK on working with Atlee, Nayanthara and Vijay

In the same session, one of the fans asked him about his working experience with Atlee. The Pathaan actor wrote, “Atlee is just too too cool. Hard working and with a one point agenda to make me look good in the film. He is superb. I wish him and Priya and Meer the best in life. #Jawan.” He even spoke about his experience with Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. Khan wrote, “Nayan is the sweetest of them all. Too much love and respect. Vijay sir is a ‘mad’ actor in a awesome way. So much to learn from both actually. #Jawan

Directed by Atlee, Jawan is headlined by Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara. The movie is scheduled to release on September 7.
