Anil Sharma takes a dig at Ameesha Patel
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Anil said, “Mera rishta kabhi kissi ke saath kharab nahi hota. Tu-tu-main-main bhi hui, theek bhi ho gayi. Ameesha ji ka nature aisa hi hai. Pichli Gadar ke dauraan unse meeting ke dauraan tu-tu-main-main ho gayi thi. Woh bade ghar ki bitiya hain, unke mizaaj thode bade hain, magar dil ki buri nahi hain, dil ki achi hai. (My relationship with anyone has never gone sour. There have been disagreements, but they were resolved. Ameesha ji’s nature is like that. During the last Gadar event, there were some disagreements during our meeting. She is from a well-to-do family, her temperament is a bit strong, but she has a good heart).”
The filmmaker added, “Bade ghar ki beti joh hoti hai kabhi kabhi tunazmizaaji aa jati hai. Hum log chote ghar ke log hai. Him log pyaar mohabbat se rehte hai. Whoh bhi rehti hai, but thoda sa attitude, ek adaa hai unme joh kabhi kabhi tedhi-medhi ho jaati hai, lekin insaan acchi hai. (Sometimes, daughters from affluent families can be a bit headstrong. We come from a modest background. We live with love and affection. She does too, but she has a bit of attitude, a style that can sometimes be a little tricky, but she’s a good person).”
This comes months after the duo buried their hatchet.
For the uninitiated, Ameesha had earlier accused Anil and his production team of not giving makeup artists and costume designers their fees. In his defense, Anil had said that there’s no truth in Ameesha’s claims. Later, Ameesha had shared a photo with Anil on her Twitter and it proved that all is well between them.
On the other hand, Gadar 2 is successfully running in the theatres. The film is slowly inching closer to Rs 500 crore mark. Given the love the sequel of Gadar: Ek Prem Katha is receiving, Sunny’s film is unstoppable.
