On Sunday (14th April) morning, Salman Khan fans were all left in shock after two gunmen opened fire outside his Mumbai residence, Galaxy Apartments. While the investigation has been underway, the accused have been arrested. The two accused, who were allegedly involved in firing outside Salman Khan residence were apprehended from Bhuj district in Gujarat.

Two men accused of firing at Salman Khan house get arrested

The Mumbai Crime Branch has made two arrests in connection with the firing incident outside actor Salman Khan’s residence in Bandra West on April 14. The accused have been identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal. They hail from Champaran in Bihar. Confirming the apprehension, Mumbai police stated that the suspects were captured in Bhuj district of Gujarat. As per reports, they had been staying in Panvel for 21 days and had purchased the second-hand bike used for the crime from a local resident.

Arbaaz Khan issues statement on firing incident

Meanwhile, Salman Khan was photographed leaving Galaxy Apartments for the first time on Monday afternoon since the firing incident. Salman’s white-coloured Nissan Patrol Bulletproof SUV was surrounded by multiple police vans.

Arbaaz also reacted to the firing, saying the family has been “taken aback” by the shocking incident. Sharing a lengthy statement on his official Instagram handle, Arbaaz said, “The recent incident of firing by two unidentified person on a motorcycle at Galaxy apartment the residence of the Salim Khan family is very disturbing and unnerving. Our family has been taken aback by this shocking incident that took place.”

For those unversed, Salman has been on the radar of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi ever since the Black Buck case. Last year, he had send him death threats via email and letters post which Salman’s security was beefed up to Y+ category. After the firing incident, several high profile personalities including Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde and Uddhav Thackeray have been checking upon the family.
