The second half of the year is always filled with big releases at the box office. It also gives rise to many clashes too. To get a good date can be a bit tricky sometimes. The much awaited Prabhas starrer Salaar: Part 1 Ceasefire also has had its journey. But now it has found a new release date.

Salaar NEW release date

The Prashanth Neel directorial was earlier supposed to release this month on September 28, 2023. However, with the storm of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan heading at the box office, the makers have made way for the Atlee directorial’s longer, uninterrupted run. Salaar will now have its new release date in November 2023. There is another biggie that will release that month, Salman Khan starrer Tiger 3. The YRF spy universe film has a Diwali release date.

Reportedly, the post production work is going on Salaar currently and the makers want only the best for it. A source close to the development revealed, “Director Prashanth Neel doesn’t want to compromise on the final product of Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire. Hence he has decided to work on the post-production to prioritize every detail to be perfect, despite the buzz for the film being at all time high. However, to ensure the best product to be delivered to the audience, the probability of film release is high in November. Meanwhile, the director is working on the post-production, the makers, Hombale Films will soon announce the new release date of the film.”

Fukrey 3 gets a clear release date

On September 1, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani had announced the new release date of Fukrey 3. The buddy comedy is now coming on September 28, 2023. It was to clash with Salaar, but with Prabhas’ film postponed, the comedy has a comparatively clear window. Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri’s The Vaccine War is also expected to release on September 28.

As for Salaar, the film’s teaser created quite an uproar, raising the excitement level. The film is rumoured to be a part of the KGF universe, but makers haven’t confirmed or denied it. It also stars Shruti Haasan opposite Prabhas, and the wait for its new release date is quite exciting.
