collections. Born and raised in Mumbai, India, Prashanti
has always been creative and artistic.She studied at the prestigious Premlila Vithaldas Polytechnic (PVP), SNDT, Mumbai, after developing an early interest in fashion design.
Under the guidance of industry stalwarts, Prashanti

the popular Femina Chrysalis Show, including the Best
Collection of the year. She then went on to work with the
late ace designer Wendell Rodricks as an assistant
designer for two successful consecutive seasons. With her
hands-on experience and dedication to her work,
Prashanti successfully launched her eponymous label
“Prashanti Kumar” in 2011. Since then, she has been
constantly innovating and setting new trends in fashion.
