Dr B R Ambetkar & Goutham buddha peace award by His excellency, Honerable governer of West Bengal and Pillars of the Nation by Speaker of Delhi at Vidhana Sabha, Delhi, acknowledge Dr. Sreedhar’s impactful contributions to uplift the nation and immortalize Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s legacy.
Dr. Sreedhar’s journey began with a U.S. doctorate in 1994. He worked as a scientist for IBM R&D labs in the U.S., serving top global companies. In 2007, he returned to India, ventured into academia, held key roles, guided PhD scholars, published extensively, and taught online courses in various subjects.
His contributions extended to literature, where he simplified complex research papers, benefiting emerging scholars. Some notable works include studies on Indigenous Languages in Meghalaya, Biodiversity in Local Languages, Western Literature’s Influence in Meghalaya, and Cultural Expression in Meghalaya’s Poetry.
In recognition of his social work in literature, he received the “Human Rights Noble Award” on July 9th, 2023.
On August 14th, 2023, he was awarded the “Pillars of the Nation Award-2023” for his work on Meghalaya’s Poetry. Mr. Ram Niwas Goel, Delhi Vidhan Sabha Speaker, commended his commitment to nation and society.
On August 15th, 2023, Dr. Sreedhar earned the “Innovator for Social Justice” award for his research on Meghalaya’s Biodiversity. The event featured prominent guests.
For his contributions to language and literature, especially for his work on Western Literature’s Influence in Meghalaya, he received the International Buddha Peace Award and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Award. These awards, presented by the Honorable Governor of West Bengal, aim to immortalize Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s legacy and inspire social change-makers. Dr. Sreedhar’s achievements exemplify the transformative power of knowledge and dedication to social welfare.
