Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan released in the theaters on 7th September. Since its release, Jawan has been making headlines for multiple reasons. The one reason being Shah Rukh Khan’s bald look. For the uninitiated, SRK has gone bald onscreen for the first time. Now, in a recent interview, he opened up about playing a bald man in Jawan.

Speaking to IMDb, King Khan said, “It was never part of the script. It was a part of the get-up that was a part of the script. I just chose the bald look out of laziness.”
“I said, ‘yeah, then I don’t have to wear 2 hours of this makeup, can I just go bald?’ So I think it came out of that. I had reservations because I showed the promo to some friends and they were like, ‘Arey yaar! It looks very scary, girls won’t like you.’ So I hope girls like me. I hope girls like bald men. I like bald girls,” he said in humour.

SRK has sported different looks in Jawan. From playing a cop to his bandaged look, King Khan has pulled off every look with ease and confidence.
Jawan also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, and Girija Oak among others. The Atlee directorial is winning hearts at the box office. For the unversed, it has collected over Rs 600 crores in one week at the global box office. Given the craze for SRK’s Jawan, it is expected to cross Rs 1000 crores at the worldwide box office.
