Sidharth Malhotra starrer Yodha and Adah Sharma starrer Bastar: The Naxal Story are set to clash on March 15 in theatres. Earlier, it has always been a concern for the producers and distributors. However, things are different this time when the filmmakers are unfazed about the clash and are released simultaneously. The recent clash that grabbed everyone’s attention was Shah Rukh Khan starter Dunki and Prabhas starter Salaar. Despite the clash, both films have garnered good numbers at the box office. Speaking about this clash, Adah Sharma said that two films can coexist simultaneously.
Adah Sharma on clash between Bastar and Yodha
During an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Sharma told us, “I think it is a coexistence. We were doing some other interviews and my director and producers were also asked and they said that actually in older times, it was a problem because there were not enough theaters. Now, apparently, there are enough theatres and screens I’ve been told at least, so let’s hope that’s true. Everyone should get the chance. But there’ll be even the past releases and the next week’s releases so all that mess will happen. You can’t be diplomatic about I’m sure if films are released together. But that’s a Karan Johar film with Sidharth Malhotra in it. I can’t even compare it to it. But this time I hope that iss baar hum sab hasange aur koi nahi fasega.” (This time, everyone will laugh and no one will get in trouble.)
