Rituraj Singh was one of the most loved actors in the industry. He died after suffering a cardiac arrest on Tuesday. The actor was 59. Several celebrities including Varun Dhawan, Manoj Bajpayee, Sonu Sood, and others paid their last respects to the actor on social media.

Celebs mourn Rituraj Singh’s death

Varun Dhawan, who worked with Rituraj in Badrinath Ki Dulhania, shared a picture with him on Instagram. The actor wrote, “#rip Rituraj sir had such a wonderful time working with him and had just met him few months back on the sets of baby John. Om Shanti.”

Manoj Bajpayee took to his Twitter and wrote, “How can this be true Rit? Why? Such a devastating news to wake up to! Rest in peace Rituraj my friend! ॐ शान्ति.”

Hansal Mehta, who worked with Rituraj on the show ‘K Street Pali Hill’ wrote, “Rituraj!!!! Can’t believe this! I directed him briefly in a daily soap called K Street Pali Hill but in the process we became good friends. Been a while since we hung out but I have such fond memories. Untapped actor and a warm human. Gone suddenly and too early.”

Sonu Sood tweeted, “#RIP Bhai #rituraj.”

Vivek Agnihotri shared a picture of Rituraj and wrote, “Rituraj my friend, how did you make it even possible? “Kitna baaki tha…” Artists never die… ॐ शान्ति।

Kavita Kaushik, who shared screen space with Rituraj in Kutumb, wrote, “Amazing actor, crazy energy, life of a party, My screen father in Kutumb… learnt so much from him… Gone too soon Rituraj… May you find peace and all that you were looking for in another world…

Nakuul Mehta penned a long note as he remembered the late actor.

Rituraj is known for his show and films like Banegi Apni Baat, Diya Aur Baati Hum, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Satrangi Sasural, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Anupamaa, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Satyameva Jayate 2, and Yaariyan 2.
