On Tuesday, netizens were surprised when Aaliya Siddiqui posted a picture with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and their kids celebrating “14 years of wedded bliss.” The director-producer – whose Instagram handle name now reads Aaliya Anand Pandey, in a recent chat opened up about their relationship and why she posted the picture too.
For those who don’t remember, last year Aaliya called the actor “an irresponsible father” and made several more allegations against him. She even accused him of abandoning the kids, him and his family ill-treating her and lots more.
Aaliya on reconciling with Nawazuddin Siddiqui
During a recent interaction with ETimes, Aaliya revealed that she and Nawazuddin decided to get back together because of their kids. The portal quoted her saying, “I feel the problems that we faced in our relationship were always because of a third person. But now, that misunderstanding is out of our lives. Because of our kids, we’ve completely surrendered. There’s no option of being apart in life now because the kids are also growing up.”
She continued, “Also, Nawaz is very close to Shora (daughter), and she was very disturbed after whatever happened. She couldn’t tolerate it. So, we decided that we are not going to fight and will live together, peacefully.”
Aaliya on posting their family picture online
Talking about sharing the positive aspects of her life on social media, Aaliya said, “Recently, there have been some positive changes in my life. I believe that when we share negative aspects with the world, we should also share the positives. I believe that goodness should also be highlighted. Nawaz was here with us, so we celebrated our anniversary together with the kids.”
Rumours of Aaliya and Nawaz reconciling surfaced on Tuesday when Aaliya shared a picture with Nawazuddin and their kids. She captioned the post, “Celebrating 14 years of wedded bliss with my one and only. Anniversary cheers (champagne clink and two hearts emojis).”
As per the report, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s kids, Shora and Yani will soon reunite with him – they are based in Dubai with Aaliya, as their vacations have started and they will be coming to Mumbai.
