Ranbir Kapoor REDUCED his fees for Animal- reports

Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal is one of the much-awaited films this year. Ranbir will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar in the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial. Recently, on Ranbir’s birthday, the makers dropped the teaser of the upcoming film. And well, Animal teaser won hearts. Ranbir has killed it once again. Interestingly, according to the latest reports, Ranbir charged less money for Animal.

Ranbir Kapoor reduces his fees for Animal

As per reports, Ranbir charges around Rs 70 crores per film. But for Animal, he reduced his fees by 50 percent. According to the Pinkvilla report, Ranbir did so to support the producers – Bhushan Kumar and Pranay Reddy Vanga. As per the portal, “Ranbir Kapoor is charging an upfront fee of Rs 30-25 crores for Animal. The amount of fees reduced by the actor has been spent on improving the production value of his gangster-drama.” The actor shall have a share in the profits, if the Animal performs well when it comes to money.

Ranbir is one of the most successful actors in Bollywood. Over the years, he has delivered hits like Yeh Jaawani Hai Deewani, Sanju, Tamasha, and Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva. The actor was last seen in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar with Shraddha Kapoor. Coming back to his upcoming film i.e. Animal, it also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Tripti Dimri, and Bobby Deol.

Animal marks Ranbir and Sandeep’s first collaboration. The upcoming action-crime film tells the story of father-son’s relationship. Given the response Animal teaser has received, the excitement for the film is too high. A fan had reacted to the teaser saying, “Ranbir you nailed it.” Another fan commented on Sandeep’s post about Animal, “Baap teaser.”
