The year 2023 has been really big for Shah Rukh Khan, his kids Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan, and even his fans. The actor returned to the screen after 4 years with Pathaan. Then, Aryan Khan debut directorial, a web series titled Stardom got into development. And even Suhana Khan is set for her debut with The Archies in 2023. Now, there is another reason to rejoice in this already happy scenario.
Shah Rukh Khan to team up with daughter Suhana Khan
SRK is already producing Aryan’s directorial Stardom. Now, reportedly he is also teaming up with Suhana. A recent report in Pinkvilla suggests that SRK will be producing a film in collaboration with Siddharth Anand. This film will star Suhana and will mark her theatrical debut. Adding to that, SRK will even star in the film.
A source said, “It’s a subject that organically calls for this casting and all the details have been kept under wraps for now. Both Shah Rukh and Suhana are excited to collaborate in a professional capacity.” The source added that the exact details of King Khan’s character aren’t yet known. However, it will be an extended cameo mostly, something like the one he did in Alia Bhatt starrer Dear Zindagi.
SRK and Siddharth Anand to reunite
This reported film will also mark a reunion of SRK with his Pathaan director. Although, this time it will be as co-producers and the director’s name is under wraps for now. The source informed, “Shah Rukh Khan and Siddharth Anand have worked together in the capacity of actor and director in Pathaan and now the duo is now all set to work in multiple capacities in this yet-untitled film. The yet-untitled film will be a co-production of Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures. The pre-production work has already begun, and all the stakeholders are excited to take the film on floors.”
This film will reportedly be the next film that Shah Rukh shoots for post wrapping up Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. It is expected to go on the floors in the last quarter of the year and have a big release in theatres in 2024. Meanwhile, Siddharth and SRK will reportedly work together on Tiger Vs Pathaan next year as well. It will star Shah Rukh and Salman Khan and supposedly go on floors after Suhana’s film.
SRK, Aryan and Suhana upcoming projects
Shah Rukh will next be seen in Atlee’s Jawan, followed by Dunki in the later part of the year. The other two films, one with Suhana and Tiger Vs Pathaan, are still not officially announced. Aryan’s web series will reportedly star Lakshay Lalwani and will also have a cameo by Ranbir Kapoor. As for Suhana, she will make her acting debut this year with The Archies alongside Khushi Kapoor and Agastya Nanda amongst others. The musical will have a direct-to-digital release on Netflix.
