The Jawan fever is officially upon us. It’s less than 24 hours left for the Shah Rukh Khan-Nayanthara starrer to release, and we can already feel the adrenaline rush. The internet is literally buzzing with excitement, and Jawan is going on to achieve new feats. As for the film’s advance bookings, it has already broken records. The first few shows are likely to go housefull, for the first time ever, Jawan will have shows running through the night. And if this frenzy is not enough, the latest predictions about Jawan’s box office state that the film will collect Rs 300 crores globally on its opening weekend.

Jawan box office predictions

As per reports on Jawan news, it is said that Jawan will open to great numbers in different markets. While the Hindi version is predicted to collect Rs 65 crores on day 1, the South versions are also expected to rake in big moolah. Now as per film business analyst Girish Johar, Jawan’s global opening will be Rs 100 crores on the first day itself. Talking to a publication, Girish shared, that Jawan might even surpass Pathaan’s day one collection. While he feels that the Shah Rukh Khan-Nayanthara starrer will collect approximately Rs 60 crores at the NBOC. Its global collection can amount to Rs 40 crores. Girish even added that if the film manages to collect Rs 100 crores per day, it can easily hit the 400 crore mark to with its weekend collection.

Jawan advance booking

The Shah Rukh Khan film has opened to a humongous response at the ticket counters. Jawan has been the fastest advance bookings to track huge figures. Until yesterday the film had sold more than 7 lakh tickets globally beating the record of Baahubali 2. As per the latest figures, Jawan is said to have sold around 4 lakh tickets in the national chains. As the bookings continue to pour in, it will be interesting to see Jawaan open to such a phenomenal response.

Jawan will be released in more than 3,500 screens internationally, and more than 5000 screens in India reportedly. The Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanathara starrer releases worldwide tomorrow, 7th September.
